It is with considerable sadness that we record the passing on 24 July 2012 of Roger Crow, the highly regarded Secretary of the Association. Roger’s 9000 hours and 15-year flying career in agricultural aviation, which began on Austers and Tiger Moths in the late 1950’s, earned him the reputation among his peers as a very productive, careful and competent pilot who was very easy on his aeroplanes. He wrote about his aviation experiences and adventures, including two years in Southern Africa, in a book called “Flying Low”. In later years Roger continued flying in gliders and microlights.
