Served in the south-west Pacific area
from October 7th. 1943 to September 6th. 1945
after training in New Zealand,
(starting Nov. 8th. 1941), on Course 25
at RNZAF Station Levin.

He completed four tours of duty: Two on Kittyhawks and two as Flight Commander on Corsairs...
and held the rank of F/L with No. 14 Squadron RNZAF aircraft on Tiger Moths, Oxfords, Harvards,
Kittyhawks and Corsairs, with a total of 2,050 hours.

Pat has written a very detailed booklet of his WW2 experiences.
We hope to include some passages covering the Pacific battles.
He received a citation - mentioned in despatches - for meritious service.
He was transferred to the RNZAF Reserve of Officers 7/9/45.
